Ferdinand and Friends Animal Rescue Network, Dr. Vetamin Ottawa Mobile Veterinary Services, Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Association, and Stacey’s Mobile Pet Services have organized the first-ever Community Veterinary Day.
The event aims to address the lack of veterinary services for rural families and communities, which creates difficulties in accessing care for pets. Instead of opening a clinic, the organizers have brought a fully equipped mobile veterinary facility to West Carleton. The clinic, which is non-judgmental and understands the challenges of finding veterinary care, offers discounted services provided by Dr. Vetamin and his team.
Additionally, Stacey’s Mobile Pet Services is offering $10 nail trims, with $5 from each trim donated to the rescue network. Nail trims will be available on a walk-in basis during the event.
The clinic will take place on Sunday, July 30th, from 11 am to 4:30 pm at the Northwind Centre (Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Centre).
To book a veterinary appointment, interested individuals must complete the form provided Please Click Here. Appointment spots and times are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and confirmations will be sent via email by Ferdinand and Friends Animal Rescue Network.
